Editor’s note: The 2019 American Pain Society Scientific Meeting took place April 3-6, 2019, in Milwaukee, US. At the meeting, Amanda Brandow, an associate professor of pediatrics, and Kate Sadler, a postdoctoral fellow, both from the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), sat down for a podcast with Francie Moehring, a postdoctoral fellow also at MCW. Brandow and Sadler discussed sickle cell pain, how they are collaborating to help increase understanding of this condition, and much more.
