Mission Statement:SED, the Spanish Pain Society aims to be a tool to help in different areas: For society and those affected by pain. It informs about new developments in the field of pain, as well as the protocols and clinicals trials underway in our country, the centers where there are performed and the pathologies they include. SED informs about the accredited Pain Units that have the means and knowledge for the study and treatment of patients and pain. SED ensures the Health Administration does not forget patients suffering from pain. To this end, it will request that they be provided with sufficient means for their study and treatment. The SED fights to extend these means to all corners of Spain. For the professional: The SED brings together the individual efforts of professionals working in the fight against pain, making their contributions and demands more effective from this collective platform. The health administration/stakeholders: among its members are most of the professionals involved in its management. SED will support and collaborate with any health project that represents an advance in the treatment of patients with pain.
