The Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at Oxford University has an exciting DPhil studentship available, looking at the role of B cells in human neuropathic pain using rare human nerve samples, as well as a human induced stem cell-derived sensory neuron and human immune cell microfluidic co-culture system. The student will work between the labs of Associate Professor John Dawes, Professor Annina Schmid, and Associate Professor Simon Rinaldi as part of the flourishing Neural Injury Group.
